The Holidays are upon us! Hallelujaaah! I so love this time of year. My favorite part, is the extra time carved out to spend with dear friends and family… and the extra carved turkey to go with it. ; ) For the first time in years, we have made ourselves a home base to come back to from the road. It will be a place where we can rest, as well as record all the new music the Lord has given me. We will be based out of Nashville, TN, where we will also be spending Thanksgiving, giving thanks for all that God has done and for his incredible faithfulness. We will only be in Tennessee for a few weeks… then our next tour begins! My first date will be in Salt Lake City, for the 2019 Woman’s Christmas Luncheon and Concert. Tickets must be purchased by Dec.1st for this event. You can get them at:

I also look forward to being part of the three services on the following morning at 9am, 11am & 1pm. I’ll post all the dates and info at my website and also in my Events on the Facebook Kathleen Carnali Music Page. After that I will be up in Basking Ridge, NJ for “A Night of Worship” with a band and two other amazing artists. Then finally we land in Norwell, MA on Christmas Eve for A Night of Worshiping our Coming King! I’m absolutely ecstatic about these upcoming events, as well as for a few more in the making that will be posting soon. I truly look forward to spending this special season with all who attend.

So… a quick question for you! As you prepare for the feast of Thanksgiving, what kind of food are you most drawn to? Are you a savory type person? …One who goes for the stuffing, turkey, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, and gravy? Or do you have more of a sweet tooth? …eyeing those sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, butternut squash, and pumpkin pie? (To be honest, I’m kind of both! Lol That’s probably why it’s my favorite meal of the year.) I want to encourage you in this… identify what type person you are. When you do this, I want you to remember the call that God has on your life.

All you Salty’s out there – “You are the salt of the earth. Be the salt wherever you go. Remember, that if salt has lost his savor, then what will anything be salted with? You are it! Be the salt that God has called you to be. There are people just like you, that will be drawn to your saltiness, and need to hear about the amazing grace of Jesus. Colossians 4:6 says, “Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.” I tell you the truth, if you are obedient in this very thing, lives are going to be changed forever this holiday season. Just like tasty salty stuffing makes you thirsty for a drink of cool water, may your saltiness cause people to thirst for the everlasting Living Water, who is Christ Jesus our Lord.

Now, for all of you Sweets! Embrace this season and make it a sweet savor unto the Lord! Let the words of your mouth be like a honeycomb, that all those around you who are drawn to such sweetness, can’t help but want to hear, know, taste, and see the goodness of our God. Manifest the delicious fruit of the spirit and “walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;” -Colossians 1:10 Then, as you are faithful to release the seed of truth, may you bear great fruit all throughout this holiday season and beyond. This is your calling of God. “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. -John 15:8

Whether we find ourselves to be more of a sweet or savory kind of person, (or maybe both!) …when we let the Lord use us to flavor the atmosphere around us, people will be drawn and God will do his work. Though there are times the Lord may have to shake us up a bit to get hard settled salt out of the shaker, or prune us by removing branches of distraction; “…thanks be unto God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place. For we are unto God a sweet savor of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish” -2 Corinthians 2:14-15

I love you all. Your prayers and faithfulness bring sweetness to my soul.Forever One in Christ,~Kathleen
