Celebrate Recovery

I have found that discouragement is the enemy to hope. It is a battle that I have had to face multiple times this past month. The set backs have been hard, but I am progressing slowly. The Holy Spirit, scripture, and praise have become my greatest weapons. With every concert, I feel better and stronger. The days in between have carried most of the challenge. However, your prayers and love have ministered to me so deeply. I can’ t even begin to express my gratitude. When going through this trial, knowing that I am not alone has been such a great comfort to me. Since my last newsletter, I have had many prayer requests sent back to me. I want you to know that I have been praying and lifting you up to the Lord as well. It is such a gift that we have as Christians to bear one another’s burdens. When one hurts, we all hurt. When one rejoices, we all rejoice. This is what it means to be family, and this is what it means to be Christian. We truly are the family of God. Thank you for your love, support, prayers, and friendship.

This weekend, I will be ministering in Florida’s panhandle. After that, we head up to North Carolina for a woman’s conference, and then go further south for more dates to follow. I will post our upcoming tour dates. As we travel, I am on a very strict medical diet. I am also taking more vitamins and supplements than I’ve ever had to take in my entire life. Our desire for an RV has now become a great need for our ministry, especially for the ability to make healthy meals on the road.

My birthday is coming up next week on March 30th! My greatest request is that you would pray for us concerning this need for our family. I also ask that if our ministry has sown into your life, that you would prayerfully consider helping us to make this a reality. For the first time ever, we just set up a “Give, Send, Go” account for our ministry. If you, your family, church or small group would like to help be a part of this answer to prayer, please go to our ministry page. There is no greater way that you could bless us right now, especially through the recent challenges that we have been facing. As of right now, I will be spending my birthday ministering at Celebrate Recovery in Charlotte, NC! I can’t even wait to see what the Lord does, and I have great expectations that His love, grace and mercy will flow over and through us in a powerful way!

“My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.” -Psalm 62:5-7

Jesus has never failed me, and I know that he has so much more planned than I could ever imagine. I love you guys so much. Your emails have touched my heart deeper than you’ll ever know. Your love and support help keep us going strong, leading people to the Savior! I hope to see you very soon, so that we together can praise Him in all his glory!

All our love,
Forever in Christ,
