So much has happened over the past two months! We’ve been steadily traveling across the southern and mid-western parts of the United States. With summer officially here, outdoor festivals, concerts and conferences have been abundant. It is such a privilege to publicly share Jesus for all to hear, as well as meet new people, and spend time with treasured friends. We have some very big news to share!!! I am pretty psyched out of my mind about it. : ) We have found the perfect RV for our family and ministry! Hallelujah!! It is a Class C, turbo diesel, Winnebago View. Being smaller and more compact than the average RV, it suits us perfect for the type of travel we do across different terrain and in many environments. It has a kitchen for us to prepare meals in; a bathroom, which will help with the many potty breaks (praise the Lord); and for those long overnight drives, we will now be able to stop and rest. Honestly, I could pinch myself! For those of you who believed with us, and ministered to us concerning this… thank you, from the bottom of our hearts! As we promised, we will soon begin our video series, sharing our many travels and adventures together!
After sending my last newsletter, I had many responses that touched me deeply. Thank you for responding, and thank God that he uses our weakness and vulnerability for his greater good and glory. Something very interesting happened right after I sent that newsletter. The Lord spoke to me, reminding me that I needed to “finish the whole story.” You see, I had another experience, exactly three months after my first snake encounter.
After leading a powerful time of worship, I continued to minister on the piano, and the Lord revealed something to my spirit. He showed me, that as I went through my trial, I had allowed a spirit of fear to take hold. Fear of what was happening to me, fear of the unknown, and so on… As soon as I realized it, I knew I had to confess it, repent from it, and release it to God. So I did right there! That night, I had more peace when going to sleep; and the next morning I had a whole new power and authority to walk in, as well as determination to get better and overcome. So, I put my shoes on and decided to walk outside and pray in the Spirit. I headed down my driveway and took a right hand turn down the street. All of the sudden, as I was looking down, about to take a step, I realized that there was something large under my foot that I was about to step on. There it was… a snake! Under my foot! I shrieked and jumped to the side. I soon discovered that it was freshly dead, as it laid there upside-down and unable to move. In that very moment, the LORD spoke to me, “It is finished; I have done it; It is under your feet.”
My eyes filled up, the Holy Spirit of God moved within me, and I worshipped the Lord right then and there! Of course, I also snapped a picture, so that I will never forget what happened in that moment. Now, as I keep my eyes fixed on Christ throughout whatever trial I must face, I will always remember my encounters with the two snakes. The first snake, though intimidating, was harmless. It is the kind of snake you want to have around because it eats all of the pests, like bugs and rodents. That is the snake that was lifted up in front of me, on the tree, reminding me of Jesus Christ our Lord, who was hung on the cross, bearing it all for us. He is the one I keep my eyes upon! The second snake, though more colorful and pretty to look at, he was poisonous, harmful, and the kind you certainly don’t wan’t to be bitten by. However, he was dead! Under my feet, to be exact! Reminding me that the story doesn’t end with Jesus on the cross! Just as my second snake came three months later, Christ Jesus our Lord came back three days later, raising in power and glory, overcoming death, sickness, disease, fear… and crushing the serpent’s head! It is done; it is finished! In Him I have overcome all things, and contain the same Spirit of love, power, and a sound mind. Satan is under our feet, and it is Christ that won us that victory! Now Lord, we will walk in faith, knowing, trusting, and believing that you go before us. Where there seems to be no way, you will make a way… because you are the way, the truth, and the life!
“Thus saith the Lord, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters; which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow. Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” -Isaiah 43:16-19
God is truly making the way for us and doing a new thing! …July 28th & 29th, I will be ministering in Aliquippa, PA for “Set Free” Weekend!! If you are in driving distance, you won’t want to miss this! I will be sharing new music, as well ministering alongside the incredibly anointed Kevin and Amy Riordan. It is the first of many more events to come and I have great expectation that the Lord is going to do a mighty work and a new thing in all of us!
I love you so much, and look forward to seeing you again soon. The Lord shall continue to perform in us his will, and good pleasure.
“For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil. And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.” -Romans 16:19-20
In Christ forever,
