Our Sound & New YouTube Channel!

After an incredible tour through the beautiful northeast, we just left New Jersey and drove onto the Cape-May Lewes Ferry! Yup, that’s right! The RV came aboard too! The ferry took us to our next stop, which is Delaware! This Saturday I will be singing at Rodney Square Park in the city of Wilmington! We’ll be there for the “Jamin’ for Jesus” all day event, so if you’re in the area come on out! On Sunday morning, I am excited to be back with Immanuel Church, to share music and testimony!

We just opened up our new “Carnali Crew” YouTube Channel! Now, you will be able to take part in our many adventures as we tour across America! As we have been ministering, touring, and working on many new ventures, I’ve also been reading the Bible in the book of Romans. Yesterday, this timely piece of scripture felt like it was jumping off the page.

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!” (Roman 10:13-15)

Truly, these are the kind of feet I want, as we travel the USA and beyond, bearing the beautiful name of Christ our Savior, and speaking of his goodness! As I continued to read further, I came across verse 18 where it says, “…Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.” I may have read this verse many times before, but this time it came alive more than ever, and the Lord showed me the power in the sound that we carry. As I thought more about the influence of sound, I began to think of it’s ability to impact the environment, whether for good or evil. When speaking or making a statement, just by switching ones tone, it can completely change the meaning of what’s being said. This is good to remember, especially when training our own tongues. Sound can so greatly effect the way information is interpreted, that it can convey very specific impressions, beyond what even words will express. I believe this is why music ministers so deeply to the soul. Especially, when pairing music with the scripture… very powerful things happen!

“It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord” (2 Chronicles 5:13)

The reality is, we all carry a sound, and it is heard in all the places that we go. It could be the sound of complaining, backbighting, encouragement, gratefulness, confusion, joy, laughter, anger, sarcasm, the list goes on and on. Just like the blast of the trumpet before battle, or a ringing bell before dinner, the noises that we make, cause a reaction to take place in the atmosphere around us. What sound do you carry to the places you go? What tones will people hear? May we all be purposeful with the melodies that we bring to the world around us, and remain in perfect harmony with the Holy Spirit of God.

“Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance.” (Psalm 89:15)
I love you all so very much! Pease remember us in prayer, as God sends our sound into all the earth…

In Christ’s love forever,
