I know it’s been a while since I last wrote. As you can imagine, we’ve had a lot to navigate through over the past few months. January and February’s tour was incredible, and honestly one of the most personally impactful of my life. God surely knew what he was doing, and in his perfect foresight was preparing us for all that was to come. After returning home, the north and east side of Nashville was completely ripped apart by a vicious tornado that came during the night. Thank God we live on the south side of the city and were completely untouched. However, our neighbors did not fare so well and faced complete devastation and loss. We may have blinked, and all of a sudden our nation was facing a pandemic of grand proportions. I still can’t fully grasp the levels of what all of this means for us in the long run. What I do know, is that we must rely on the manifold wisdom of God and not on the fear of the unknown. He saw this coming long before we ever did. My tour was supposed to begin this weekend in North Carolina. Obviously, everything has been canceled or postponed for now. As I was in prayer with the Lord, he led me to do a quick release of a new song for the times we are living in. All week we have been working diligently, day and night, to release this song to you. In only three days from now, “2020 (Strangely Dim)” will release on my birthday, Monday March 30th!!
